I was in my stand early for the ky opener. It rained and it was windy little foggy. Just after daylight here came a doe it came into some deer cocain I put out a month ago. she was just out of range and pawed around there for an hour. Then her fawn came and was jumping around he came within 10 yards it was a little buck with inch long horns. I let him go. I was watching the big doe waiting for her to come a little closer. I herd a stick crack turn and looked and there were 5 doe under and right behind my stand. they went around the side of the mountian one turned to give me a good shot I drawed they dident here me. I flat out missed. I don't know what happened. I was shaking a little I have never killed a deer with a bow. It was good morning for around here most of the time you don't see deer. Will those deer remember that shot? should I stay out there for awile?

They will be back......Bet there's a big buck in there too!! If they remember the shot, they will look up toward your stand when they come back....If they do, just change stand location a little...

Remember the shot, what...? I shot a Doe that was 10yrds from my stand on Tuesday, and hours later the three other does that she was with came right back to the exact same spot. They are probably back there already. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> Quick, get out there!
