I was messing with my Stingers, cutting paper with them. When my hand slipped off the arrow and my thumb landed on the bleeder blade. It sliced a layer of skin off my thumb. I didn't even feel it. It was weird. I watched the blade go right under my skin, but I didn't feel a thing. It didn't bleed, but it could have been plenty worse. I guess that's what I get for playin with my broadheads. I still can't feel it unless I press on it, but now that I've been hitting the space bar alot, its starting to sting just a tad. I wonder if thats what deer feel?

Since you probably sliced one layer of skin off your thumb I doubt if it feels the same as a hole in your side, thru both lungs, and a hole thru the other side. Ask your mommy for a snoopy band aid and a tippy cup full of koolaid!

Well, at least now you know that the blades are sharp enough to cut through flesh...
. In all seriousness I would be surprised if there was even one of us out there that hasn't been cut by a broadhead a time or two in their lives.

Based on footage seen on tv and such, todays high speed bows and a very sharp broadhead, sometimes it looks like the deer didnt know what hit him.
DK at least wear some leather gloves next time, geeeeez...
