Refletching before the season

Do you refletch right before the start of the season?
I took mine to the local shop the other night and they looked at me like I was nuts. Some of the arrows were still good, but I will have more confidence if I know that all the fletchings are new and in good shape.

I refletch all my arrows before the season starts. I want to make sure they are all flying accurately. I do all the fletching myself, and then shoot a couple rounds with them to make sure they are flying straight.

There is nothing wrong with refletching before season if you feel the need.If the fletchings are in good shape there may not be a need but it isn't a big deal.I just refletched a dozen myself last week just because
And do a few times every year.Buy yourself a jig and do your own it is really simple, and you can fletch arrows to your liking for tune and apperance.Bill D>

When I was shooting feathers I was reluctant to refletch since they seemed (to me at least) to be a little more inconsistant. Feathers, done right will really fly well but occasionally I would get one that for some reason wouldn't stabilize and had to be redone. The plastic vanes are much more consistant and I don't hesitate...
