Homemade treestand pics
I remember a while back someone sent in some pics of there stand they built.I wanted to post some pics of mine but never got around to it
Well here is mine.I built it back in 2000,well I desighned it and cut the steel and my good friend welded it with a tig welder.Very solid and absolutely no noise. As you can see in one of the pics its hung by a car seat belt. The old cars have the brass fittings at the end making them good to place a half inch bolt through and strapping it onto the tree, very cheap and effective and wont damage the tree.just pull tight and there you have it.If you want to remove it,just push the little button
This stand will be getting a new seat this weekend along with some new paint and will post o pic of the finished product.
You will also notice a U on the platform, well it was my bow holder. The new VFT limbs dont sit in it comfortably, making for an akward position but worked well with my extreme-solo.
Hope everyone enjoys and will post some measurements as well when the stand is finished

Good ole American enginuity comes through again! OOPS!! You're from Canada, eh? LOL....Exceptions to every rule...lol...j/k buddy. Very clever. Good looking stand. I will be waiting for the dimensions. Maybe you could help a dummy out and supply a parts list and where to find those parts as well.
