Default I was number one

I was the first person to fill out my on-line archery permit application for Illinois. That doesn't mean anything this year since it's a lottery but I thought it was neat that I was the first person to fill it out. I went to the website a couple of minutes before it was set to go on-line and it was already up, soI started filling out the application and when I hit submit it said I was 700001. I filled one out for my buddy a couple of days later and he was something like 7003313. So they had taken over 3000 applications in a couple of days. Won't it suck if I don't even get drawn and I was the first permit application submitted[:'(]

With over 3000 applications in a few days, your chances come draw time are lookin too good buddy. Best of luck though.

I'll just wait until a week before the season open and go buy mine over the counter like usual.

Me thinks they should take the first 10,000 applications and give them a tag automatically, then start the lottery for the next 10,000. Of course by doing this the outfitters and the politicians would have fits.

Good luck and I hope you draw a tag. By the way, I am going to buy mine over the counter along with Justin and DK.[8D]
