Contest Poll - Where do you stand?
#2
I do not think that bucks shot through an outfitter should be able to be entered. The hunter doesn't have to do much work to bag the deer. If it was allowed, then the winning team would probably win by shooting deer through an outfitter.

I say yes because if people want to pay $1000-5000 to shoot a nice buck and enter it into an internet contest that, at least as I see it, is for fun then let them go ahead and do it. It also makes the contest alot easier to run because you won't have to worry about where the deer was shot. Although the chances of getting a deer are better, bowhunting is never a sure thing.

This whole "hunting contest" thing is kinda silly. Ya'll arent playing for anything other then being able to say "Look at me I won, look". And its over the internet, where scores and records cant be checked to make sure they are valid. To "ban" guys who hunt with an outfitter is silly, especially for a "contest" like this one.

No one who hunts through an outfitter would be banned, they simply wouldn't be allowed to enter that buck.
As far as I'm concerned, I trust everyone I've met on here, I have no reason to question the validity of the scores the present us.

I wasent going to say anything but the last post changed my mind......
I think this entire poll is another classic example of hunters whining and complaining when somebody has it alittle better then themselves.

It's a rule that wasn't clearly defined last year.
What exactly are you trying to say? Because I'm content to hunt private land and do all the work myself, I'm not as privaledged as someone who hunts through an outfitter every year?
Look, if you don't plan on participating in the contest, that's fine, great, grand. We don't need someone with as poor of an attitude towards it as you do anyhow. We're better off. I'd appreciate it though if you'd stop posting in my threads about the contest if all you're going to do is start arguments.
