Went and put a brand new Hoyt ViperTec XT1000 in the lay away this afternoon.
Draw Weight: 70lbs
Draw Length: 28.5"
Let-Off: %75
Axle to Axle: 32.5"
Other Stuff: Cam & a 1/2 and 3/4 limb.
$408 left to pay on it
Gonna have to buy a quiver, sights, rest, and maybe some arrows because I aint very fond of using aluminum arrows due to the weight even though this thing supposedly shoots 305-310fps. Ive got 4 90gr muzzies waitin to eat up on a big o buck deer

congrats on the new purchase!
Did ya look at the ultramags?......to me they shoot just as well and about 1/3 less the price that sold me on one. the money i saved on the bow i put towards the other good stuff.....rest quiver sights.ended up spending $1100 canadian for my ready to hunt bow

I agree with Nicholal, last Dec. I was shopping and shot a V-tec and an Ultramag side by side. I could not notice enough difference to justify the $200 difference in price.
The Ultramag is a sweet bow. Besides the deer we have in So. Illinois cannot tell the difference in machined aluminium and cast magnesium!!!
