RE: What brand broadheads do you shoot?
ORIGINAL: 121553 125grain -three bladed thunderhead. My next choice would be a muzzy. I really don't think you would be wrong either way. Bobby Butch A. Edit: I notice how many people have chosen Muzzy! Wow... What's the difference in a 3 or 4 blade Muzzy over a 3 blade Thunderhead? |

RE: What brand broadheads do you shoot?
Hey Washington Hunter,
Ive never used Slick Tricks, but last fall, I took my first buck with my bow (only a 4 pointer though) with a 100gr. 4 blade muzzy. He was stopped broadside at about 28 yards, and the arrow went right through him and I never even found it til this spring. The buck ran 30 yards up a ridge and stopped, before his knees buckled and he rolled over. I have never seen so much blood in those 30 yards. That said, I may give rocket steelheads a try this year because I like to tinker. But for me, as far as fixed go, you cant beat muzzy for sure. |

Muzzy
100 grain-3 blades |
RE: What brand broadheads do you shoot?
100 grain 3 blade Muzzys, but I may be carrying Slick Tricks, Magnus Stinger 4 blades, or Rocky Mountain Turbos alongside the Muzzys.
The Slick Tricks and Rocky Mt. Turbos appeal to me because of the all steel ferrules. |
