Just to see what everyone will be shooting this season...

Personally I'm still trying to decide bewteen the 100grn. 4-Blade Muzzy's or the 100grn. SlickTricks...

i've been using some Game Tracker Terminator 3 blade 125's

i might try to see how the Eastman Ti-2 extreme 100's shoot

I use 100 grain 3 blade Muzzy's.

With only four votes in so far I would stay it is still too early to call....;)

...I voted Rocket because it is what I have been using...though that could change once the season starts as there are so many great heads out there.

I put a vote in for Rocket. I pretty much try a new b-head each year, in the past I have used.... N.A.P. T-heads, Muzzys, Rocky Mt Gator, Votrex, and G5 Montecs

This year though, I have decided to go with the Rocket Hammerhead 3-L's

Question....... If you are trying to decide between muzzies and slick tricks then why no slick trick spot on the poll?

2 blade 100 grain Magnus Stingers.

125grain -three bladed thunderhead. My next choice would be a muzzy. I really don't think you would be wrong either way.

This will be my first year bowhunting, and I think I'm going to try the Slick Trick's. I hear nothing but great things about them. I'll definately be going with fixed blade heads due to their simplicity and durability. One less thing to get screwed up when it comes time to shoot.

After all the great reviews I've heard though, I have a feeling I'll be using the slick tricks this year. ;)

I use Thunderheads and will still have them in the quiver this fall. But I'm also going to give the 100 grain Slick Tricks a try.

I fall in this catagory myself. I like trying out new broadheads? A few of the best I have tryed are Muzzy,Rockets, Thunderhead, G5 montecs, NAP shockwave,Bear,Wasp-fixed and mech? A fewIhave not tryed but would like toisSlick Tricks,and Stingers. I will most likely will be giving one of these heads a try this yr?I can`t vote on just one head so Iwon`t vote.All these heads are good (IMO) Not one of these heads has ever let me down..rta47

I always (20+yrs) shot Bear Razorhead 145's. I know they're obsolete...but I lost 1 out of about 40 deer shot with them.

Last year I changed to expandables....and I didn't care for them as much.

I'll be back to the bears this year. God...I must be one of the last using them. LOL

Same here... I use 125gr Thunderheads on an Easton XX75 aluminum arrow. Simple... Easy... Ain't nothing special... But it packs a whallop!!! ;)

Edit: I notice how many people have chosen Muzzy! Wow... What's the difference in a 3 or 4 blade Muzzy over a 3 blade Thunderhead?

Hey Washington Hunter,

Ive never used Slick Tricks, but last fall, I took my first buck with my bow (only a 4 pointer though) with a 100gr. 4 blade muzzy. He was stopped broadside at about 28 yards, and the arrow went right through him and I never even found it til this spring. The buck ran 30 yards up a ridge and stopped, before his knees buckled and he rolled over. I have never seen so much blood in those 30 yards. That said, I may give rocket steelheads a try this year because I like to tinker. But for me, as far as fixed go, you cant beat muzzy for sure.

100 grain 3 blade Muzzys, but I may be carrying Slick Tricks, Magnus Stinger 4 blades, or Rocky Mountain Turbos alongside the Muzzys.

The Slick Tricks and Rocky Mt. Turbos appeal to me because of the all steel ferrules.
