Default I can't wait!

I just talked to my dad on the phone and he showed me the boundaries of my land. There is a creek that runs through it, it seperates some thick brush from some thin brush where they logged. I was told that that would be a great place to hunt. I also found out that they pushed back the deer season! Can any Mississippi hunters verify that? I looked it up on mdwfp.com and did not see any changes, but I heard it would happen. This is great news because I really don't hunt the first month because it is way to hot for me to hunt, and it gives me more time to get ready for the season. Get ready for a monster deer!

Sounds great Zak! If I were you I'd be out walking that creek looking for funnels through that thick brush.

In any case, it sounds like this may be your year! Good luck bud!

Zak I read one of your post on how much land do you have to hunt. If I may ask, What the heck does your dad do to accumulate so much land to hunt? Sounds great though. Go get them.

zak,

Yes, MS did push back the season in South Mississippi. The season will run from October 15 - February 15. Unfornuately, you lost 15 days of bow only in October that was replaced with 15 days of primitive weapon in February...

Does that really effect anyone in MS? I don't know of one bowhunter that goes out the first 15 days of October.

Good luck Zak...sounds like you got a good chance to get out there and nail your first one. I'm sure the ally is ready to go too.
