I love hunting in Iowa and the people there are outstanding. We will be there also this fall hunting in Zone 5. I can not wait we have had some good hunts there and some awesome buck encounters. I would hate to see the price go up anymore than it is but as it stands now it is worth it to me. The hunting and the awesome rut activity is worth the price. You do not have to buy a doe tag w/ your drawn buck tag to hunt as far as I know. I could be wrong and might have missed something in there website but I don't think so. Iowa landowners are some of the best and can't wait to get there. Good Luck XTec

No need to go through an outfitter if your willing to put your "own" time in. Pub land can sometimes be tough to find though. We are hunting on some private land.
