What are your goals for this year's hunting season?

What were your goals from last year? Did you meet them?

This year I would like to take my first buck.

Last year my goal was to take any legaldeer with my bow, since it was my first archery season. I acheived my goal and took a nice doe early in the season.

To put my self in position to harvest a mature buck.

Once again it was to put myself in position to harvest a mature buck. Yes, I did meetmy goal.I had two close callsat mature bucksthat just passed by out of range last year andsealed the deal on the third opportunity.

i will learn to execute my shots with back tension in 2005. i've got a pure bt release and i will not pick up my thumb trigger until i'm more accurate than i was pulling thru the shot with it. hey, i'll still be able to snap shoot if i need to.

Set op some new stands with some new tricks. Would like to see them work. Oh yeh, have a great time and not be broke in Febuary. Again.

My goals for this year are to give myself more oppurtunities at a mature deer (stand location, scouting, strategy). I still do not have an archery buck so that will be a goal too. My season was cut short last year due to work so I have to make up for it this year!! I planted a small food plot this year and have scouted hard, cant wait for October.

Archery goals are to place top 5 in every 3D event I go to this year, which I have managed to do so far. Ultimate goal is to place top 3 in the large event in the area, Tupper Lake Challenge.

For bow season, I simply hope to take a buck with my bow that is a 3 1/2 year animal and learn patterns on a new patch I have to hunt this year. I plan to also hunt 3rd week of Nov in PA this year as well.

My goals this year are similar to my goals last year. I want to kill a 140 + buck and I want to fill all ofmy Arkansas and Illinois tags (if I get drawn). I didn't accomplish my ultimate goal last year which was to kill a 140+ buck.

Have fun!!!! Fill all my doe tags. Kill another mature buck. Try to 'figure' out a couple new spots I have.

yes. I had a good 2004. Killed a good mature buck and filled my doe tags.

My goal is plain and simple, have fun!!! That is what it is all about or I wouldn't be doing it.

Yes, I met last years goal and had a blast. Although I did not harvest a buck I still harvested a doe and enjoyed passing up on bucks that have potential to be somthing in the future. Only if I could get more people in my area to do so[:@]

I didn't meet my goal's from last year since i was holding out for a particular buck .But this season I'm going to take my deer early for the freezer, then hold out for a mature buck later
