your first time hunting

RE: your first time hunting
I started hunting two years ago. I hunted only one day of that season with my 20 gauge. I wouldn't have shot a deer because I was not very accurate with my gun. I guess you could say that I was watching the deer, although I didn't see any. I started bowhunting last year.

I started hunting when I was about 8 at that time I was a bird dog for my father and grandfather, I started carrying a gun and buying tags when I was 12(legal age where I am) started bowhunting at about 13 or 14 that was about 12yrs ago. and have been hooked ever since. Got my first deer with my bow at about 2 seasons into it which was a doe(can still taste her tender backstrap to this day) it took me about 4 seasons before I got my first buck with my bow(what a feeling that was).

My mom and Dad divorced when I was 6, and until she re-married my "dad" ( I call him dad because to me he is, I have the utmost respect for him) I had no prior experience with a firearm. My first kill was the back window of his 1973 Bronco. Shot it dead center with a Red Ryder. No doubt. I was 9 at the time, been huntin ever since. I have, however, found that squirrels and quail taste much better than glass.
