I have been thinking about competing in the Cambell Outdoor Challenge. It will air on the Men's Channel. What do you guys think of this show? It is the one where the team is a camera-man and a hunter.

They film those deer hunts about 45 minutes from my house. I love the show, it is a great concept and I think the idea is really starting to take off. It will be one of the top ten deer hunting shows this year.

dont think i would support such a platform,
dont like the idea of the purpose of the hunt being for competetion purposes, and not for food, and/or wildlife management,
and giving amateurs incentives to film such hunts i think will increase unethical hunts,
was watching one show, where a guided hunter took a shot at a running deer, at probably 100-200 yds, and they made no mention of the rights and wrongs of shooting a running deer, thankfully he missed,
cameraman patted him on the back and tried to comfort him on the miss, by saying nice try,
camera man should have slapped him for trying to shoot a running deer.

I think I like watching the show. It is very entertaining. I have been a cameraman for a hunting show that airs on the Mens Channel and OLN before, and it is very challenging and fun. The only problem that I have is that they want you to book a hunt with them to enter the challenge. It is almost a marketing thing to book hunts. Having said that, if I were booking another hunt this year and had the time, I would do this, it sounds like a blast.
