RE: leaf river digital trail cam
IL,
Thanks for the info again, I am very interested in the attributes you stated about that infared. As with Tribal I am looking forward to hearing more from you on this digital infared camera. Great photo as usual of the Doe and Fawn. I have been out almost every evening for the past couple weeks filming and have been expecting at any time to see some fawns and calf elk, its only a matter of time I am sure. Thus far of approximately 12 different bucks behind the place here I have two that look very promising and 3 or 4 others that have good potential. One 5x5 on June 1st that had right around 120 inches of antler on his head already, I was surpised, he's 19-20 max inside and his mains where 2-3 inches past his g-4s, his tallest tines where probably 7 inches max with a couple months to grow. He looked to be 3 to 4 years old. One other big body, pot bellied sway backed (220+lbr) buck I videoed Sunday evening with a nice hvy head of bone already as well. I was a thousand yards away so I couldnt get exacts on his antlers, but could see his frame well enough in the spotting scope to see his heft and height already. Every other buck in the area are younger and have far less growth but are looking really healthy. I really want to get a couple digitals and look forward to hearing more from you. Sorry I am rambling, these bucks get me going. :D |

Man you leaf river guys are hard core huh :D .
Do not count out building your own unit . I will put my day and night pictures against any store bought cam out there . It is hard to beat the Sony P41 4MP camera . Heres a link to a couple of my pictures . I posted them when another member wanted to see "PROOF" that a home brew cam could take nice pictures . LINK HERE |

Double Lunger,
Those are some awesome trail cam photos! Congrats. What camera do you use in your home made setups? Once again , great photos! |
RE: leaf river digital trail cam
I was wondering how far the flash distance was and how far it can detect motion.

Hey--Double Lunger--now THAT'S VERY IMPRESSIVE---will you be able to assist me in setting up one of those?
My email address is entered in my profile. Looking forward to hearing from you. I've heard of the Sony P41, 4.1, 5.0 & 5.1 mega pixel and they are great digital cams. |
