Thought I'd better reply before it drops off the front page, whackmaster! I have a UltraForce MX1 Split that I shot my first robinhood with a little over a week ago. I really do like the bow. But as long as the subject of High Country has been brought up, what the heck is going on with them? Their website still touts their 2001 lineup!?%$*& And I heard a rumor on another board that their new president, a Mcpherson, has already left? Does anyone know if this is correct?

I wondered about that as well. I don't know what is up with them, but I love my Brute Force. I just got it serviced today and it's still cranking out the speed. I'm really looking forward to season, killing some deer, and picturing my deer+High Country on this board. But High Country is definetly the way to go. I hope they update their site before long and let their shooters know what the hell is going on.

Mine is a High Country Ultra Pro Series with the solo (Mathews) cam. It will drive tacks if I can put the pin on them.
This will be my back-up bow after next year because I will be shooting a new HCA Carbon Four Runner.I have owned bows by most major manufacters but I have stayed with HCA since I got my first one 4 or 5 years ago.

I love my ultraforce, I bought it new 4 or 5 years ago. My only complaint is the limb coating under the limb bolts is seperating from the limbs and is coming off. I called High Country the other day and they told me that they will replace the limbs free of charge and have it back to me in a week. I don't have a receipt or anything and they don't care. It's going back for new limbs as soon as the season is over.

They stand behind there bows!
A few years back I had a bushing split the day before the season opener. My dealer called his factory rep. and he said to give me a NEW bow!
HCA didn't want a customer missing part of the season with a bow problem because they want to keep us happy with our equipment.
Long story short,I still shoot a H.C. bow SF

Brute Forces Kick Ass! What's your setup Butcher?
Here's mine...
High Country Brute Force
Bodoodle Overdraw
Strikewave Stabilizer
Cobra 5pin Micro-Adjust Sights
Kwik 3 Arrow Quiver
Bow Sling
2312 XX78 Easton Arrows, 26 7/8' long
85grain Nap mechanical broadhead
265fps currently. I look to change peepsights, and add a Sims Cable Slide. Hoping it will take me to 270fps or alittle more.
