How many #'s were the bows set at, what type of bows did you shoot, what were the weights of the arrows, did the bows have a "loaded" string? At IBO (350g arrow and 70 # DW; 30" DL), most of the hard-cam Bowtechs will EASILY eclipse 300 fps, as will many other late-model bows --- that doesn't mean you have to shoot at 300fps+. I would much rather have a smooth, accurate bow shooting at 260fps than one I couldn't hold steady shooting 300fps. A slow hit is better than a fast miss any day.

I find it very hard to beleive you could not get a Black Knight to do 300 FPS.I have a 2001 BK2 that will do that at 3/4 draw

Ummmm don't think so buddy. My '04 single cam Patriot @ 30" 71# 405 grain arrow spits them out a 303 fps all day every day. Might want to have that chronograph checked.

You can see below what my Allegiance does. SO I know that Bowtechs will get above your magic 300 fps. And I shot the Blackknight as well, It makes my Allegiance look slow. By the way notice my draw length.

This might be one of the funnier threads I have ever seen........

Allegiance 317fps 29"/60#/300gr

BK 332fps 29"/70#/350gr

Patriot Dually 318fps 29"/70#/350gr

Patriot Single cam 308fps 29"/70#/350gr

Should I continue? OR maybe you'd like to see the 30" speeds?
