Lacrosse makes really good boots. I own a 17 inch pair. Ive had the same pair for several seasons now and have no complaints. I think they have about 800g insulation. Great all around boots. I use them for deer and turkey hunting>

Rockys. I got a pair of 1200gr thinsulate at Gander Mt. If you have Gander Mt near you watch the sales flyers. They have LaCrosse and Rocky brands. Both are good. I got the Rockys for $59 on sale.

Check out Muck Boots. I've used a pair of the Woody Max for two seasons now with no complaints. Warm, dry and very comfortable.

i just made a reply too your last thread and i agreed with BHS about treestands. And again agree with BHS. Muck Boots (THE MUCK BOOT COMPANY). I have a pair of their Fieldmasters for early season and a pair of their Woody Max's for late season hunting. i am sure i could narrow it down by getting their Woody's and they would be good year around

Try on as many different brands as you can and get the ones that fit the best. I ended up with a pair of Browning's.

La Crosse: Alpha Burly. I switched from Rocky and these boots are top notch! Super light weight and warm. 800gr of thinsulate. JMO!

Alpha Burly's 1200 gram Thinsulate for me in the dead of winter--together with two pairs of wool socks.
