Default Switchback vs. Vtech

I shot the 05 Vtech today all I can say is there is no comparison betweent the switchback and Vtech!! Both bows were completely bare (Rest only), while the Vtech nearly jumped out of my hand the Switchback was the total opposite!! There is no doubt that the swithchback is far smoother! I am not one of these guys that is just like yeah I am a Mathews man, know other bow can compare! There is no doubt that Hoyts are a good solid bow, but in my experience the Vtech is far infereior to the Switchback!

Yeah, i bet it almost JUMPED out of your hand, i mean the mathews is the "perfect bow, everything else is bad on my ears, jumps out of hands, and doesent shoot consistent patterns.

Just go away...GET!

I plan on doing my own testing shortly. I picked up both a couple days ago, but never got to shoot them, but I will say this. The Switchback I drew was set at 29.5" at 62 lbs. with the 80%[:'(] letoff. I then drew back the V-tec set at 29.5" at 65 lbs. with the 75%[:'(] letoff. The Hoyt drew back smoother and actually felt like it was pulling less poundage. Of course I hate higher letoffs and want to shoot both set at the same poundge with my preferred 65%. I won't know until I actually shoot them about recoil but I will say this...........its hard to judge any bow set up bare unless you actually plan on shooting them this way..just my opinion because the Switchback is heavier than the V-tec off the rack and most likely an archer will be putting on a stablizer, sight, rest and quiver. That extra weight helps stablize any bow and reduces recoil.

I own a V-tech its a good bow. I shot a switchback. You are not going to find a smoother bow than the switchback.
