O.K. get ready for a stupid question
I've been reading alot about the "equalizer cam" on the bowtechs. What I was wondering is, is it the same thing as a double cam bow? Whats the difference between the equalizer cam and the "dually" that bowtech makes? I've read alot of stuff about it but, being new to bowhunting, I dont understand alot of the stuff they talk about. I guess I need someone to explain it to me in idiot terms.

It is a dual cam bow but where it differs is............
On a typical dual cam bow the cables are attached to the limb on one side and to the cams module on the other side. As the bow is drawn the cam pulls on the cable and bends the other limb.
With the equalizer cams the cables are attached to the cams on both sides of the bow. One one cam it is attached to the module and on the other cam it is attached to a small wheel. As the bow is drawn the module pulls on the cable and bends the other limb throught he other cam. What this does is it "locks" the two cams together so that they stay in synch with each other better.
