Witch Muzzy do you like ?
I am thinking of trying some muzzy's, I'm set on the 125gr. but don't know witch would do the best job hunting bear and deer 3 blade or 4. I know either one would be good on deer but was thinking of the extra blade for bear. How do they fly and penatrate. I'm shooting a 72# Bow-Tec Liberty at 30" Easton c2 carbons......Dave

You will get a hundred different responses to this so here is my two cents worth(about all my opinion is worth ). I had serious trouble getting good groups with the Muzzy Four blades. I will be using a three blade next season or a mechanical.

If I were going to shoot a Muzzy it would be the Phantom. I do not like the way the tip is installed on the furrel. I have seen the tip bend over the furrel on just shooting into a 3d target and the furrel balloon on hard hits.
IMHO innerlocks are a much betteer broadhead than a Muzzy. At least for me, they fly better and are much tougher with the steel tip extending all the way through the furrel.

I switched from the phantoms after the tip curled over on a rib shot. I still got the elk but the fletches kept me from having a pass through. At 10 yards with 83 ft lbs that should have been a complete pass through.

I"ve shot Muzzy's for about 6 yrs and I've tried the 3 &4 blade models, with my bow setup the 3 blades shot much better groups and 90% of the time I've had complete passthroughs on the deer i've shot with them.
