I have had my biscuit for a couple years now and I love it. I'm thinking about going to the rip cord drop away rest for something different though.

Not a big fan of it.
slows the shot down(not by much though) and tears up fletching.

I got no time for it. I don't spend a lot of time getting fletching clearance to screw it up with that thing. They're Ok for the average weekend warrior.

Guess it all depends on what you want and what you need a rest to do.

I always hunt on my feet. Closest I come to a stand is crouched behind a small fir. I move a lot, sometimes knocked. I need a rest that I know will hold my arrow until I draw. The WB does this without a secondary holding device to possibly fail. There is no rattle or sound. I simply know the arrow will not move.

Giving up a few feet per second means nothing to me; I like the secure arrow. The new disk is much easier on fletch than the first model was. I went from quite a bit of damage to almost none.

Shoots fine wet. We don't get real cold much around here.

If I was sitting in a stand all day I would probably use something else. Like most tools it has to fit the job for which it is intended. My advice is try it; then bad mouth it!

BGfisher...Weekend warrior??? First of all, fletching clearance is not an issue so how are you screwing it up? Also, may I submit to you that there are vanes out there that are durable enough to shoot with the WB and never show any indication of wear, like the blazer vanes.

So, BGfisher, if you are into traditional archery and traditional equipment, that's fine and I'm all for that, but you shouldn't knock other hunters for the equipment they use.

It seemed to work fine for me...and it wasn't on the weekend.:D
