ORIGINAL: Bluefeather

ORIGINAL: BGfisher

I got no time for it. I don't spend a lot of time getting fletching clearance to screw it up with that thing. They're Ok for the average weekend warrior.
BGfisher...Weekend warrior??? First of all, fletching clearance is not an issue so how are you screwing it up? Also, may I submit to you that there are vanes out there that are durable enough to shoot with the WB and never show any indication of wear, like the blazer vanes.

So, BGfisher, if you are into traditional archery and traditional equipment, that's fine and I'm all for that, but you shouldn't knock other hunters for the equipment they use.

It seemed to work fine for me...and it wasn't on the weekend.:D

Just curious. If vane clearance isn't an issue then why do you need special vanes that don't show wear? I've had one in the past and didn't care for it but it wasn't on that great of a bow either and that could've contributed to the vanes deforming. Another reason why I have reservations about the biscuit is that I've seen a product sold that is supposed to help the fibers not freeze up. I shoot feathers and I know what that's about. A lot of guys like the biscuit, that's great, I like hearing deer stories more than I like being in them (well maybe not) so knock 'em down, but the biscuit like all archery products, contrary to the utopia that were sold on a daily basis as the next best thing, has it's draw backs to. So Huntnbuddy add one to your collection of next best things and try it out is my advise. Now if they could only make a remote control devise that would bring the next record book buck to my stand, in camo of course, but that won't happen, I'll have to buy the black this year and then get the camo when it comes out next year. :D Nice buck.

GOTTA LOVE MY BISCUIT!!!! I use and aluminum insert with carbon arrows so I can wrap mole skin through the arrow hole and around the rest and still have plenty of clearance. Makes your draw pretty stealthy in the woods.
