Rangeball

I ordered one as well Chuck told me to wash it 6 to 8 times and it should be good as new.

Does it require drying in between each washing cycle? I'm thinking of putting mine in a 5 gallon bucket with water and detergent, letting it soak, hanging it to dry then repeating several times...

I am just going to wash and put mine in the dryer after each wash.
Thats what Chuck told me to do on the phone.

That's odd. The guy I talked to, I think it was Tim, told me NOT to use the dryer, ever. He said to hang it to dry. Now I'm confused...

Rangeball, You probably talked with Tim Lenartz and I remember hearing them say the same thing back in Gobbler Season.

To be honest, I haven't washed mine from the spring season when they handed it to me. I don't think I'll use the dryer tho.

I'll have to ask Chuck the next time we talk.

here is a part of an email I just got from Chuck.

as for the dryer, I've washed several sets in hot water/warm rinse and then thrown them in the dryer at hot heat at least 6 times with absolutely no adverse effects on the fabric, but normal washings are supposed to be cold water wash and hang dry, with is the safest bet for long lasting care. If it doesn't hold up, we'll give you a new one, so give it a try, Russell.

Another reason to own ASAT and Chuck is a hell of a guy isn't he?

Rob
Nice guy is an understatement
From the dealings I have had with Chuck he is a great guy.
It means a lot to me when one of the principals of a company give you his personal guarrantee on the product.

I had some pictures and a video sent to me from ASAT about the product. The photo's looked good but the video didn't do anything to convince me that it was that much better than any other camo. I'm sure there are folks (like Rob/PABowhunter) who use ASAT successfully so I won't knocks it's effectiveness. I personally just like Predator much better.
