Great broadheads for turkeys...
Take your favorite broadhead and file the tip down till it's 1/8-3/16 wide (so it's a flat blunt tip)... It's devistating on a turkey... I use NAP Thunder heads for that...

I used a regular muzzy last year on my turkey with 80 ft pounds of ke. Blew clean through it and imbedded into a tree. The turkey started to fly and collapsed in mid air about 30 yards down hill. I like the advertisement for the gobbler gillotine though. It takes their head clean off. But i don't like all those blades back by my hand. They are nasty looking.

Xarmy55, I usaully use gobbler stoppers with an extremely light arrow. You are correct, the shock value is what counts. On my last turkey I got a phone call( hot tip) and wasn't set up or didn't even have my tag yet. I purchased a tag on the way and grabbed what I had ready.( it was elk season). I never thought about grinding the tip off my broadhead. You can bet that if I ever get into that situation again I will be using your suggestion along with possibly having some adder points behind the broadhead.
