How to pick out a Good Hunting Blind
I am looking for a good blind to use for next years bow season. What is the best way to pick one out and what do u go by? Only thing I really care is that its big enough for at least 2 people and is fairly easy and quiet to set up.
I was looking at the Cabela's Lightning Set Hunting Blind for $160
Then theres somthing like this which seems more basic for $80
Eastman Outfitters Carbon Pop-Up Blind
And lastly....would buying one used be a good idea or is it best to go new?

Hi aquakeeper, I hunt out of an Ameristep doghouse blind and find it a little small. Next year I will go with a roundhouse or penthouse or a bouble bull. These blinds are also big enough for two people plus I would like the option of being able to stand up to shoot.

I got a hunters view "lodge" I think its called. 7'x7' & I forget how tall but I can stand up with room to spare. Took 2 does out of it so far. I think if I had it to do over agan I would get one with the shoot thru mesh although I can honestly say that the deer never saw me in there. Last year I got an outhouse by Ameristep but it was way too small.
My advice I guess is make sure its big enuff. The one have now I put a chase lounge in it with the leg portion folded so its like a low chair & I could sleep in there.

I'm hunting out of an Ameristep Doghouse blind. I can't think of a thing I don't like about this thing.
I had an outhouse and it was too small. I think the Doghouse is just right and it's a lot easier to put away. I practicly folds it's self up.

Aquakeeper,
I have the Doghouse and it works fine but where I use it sometimes the camo seems a little dark for the background. I am going to be getting a Double Bull for Christmas, though I haven't told my wife yet that's what she getting me.
