muzzy 4 blade 100 gr
i'm thinking of changing my broadheads from bear razorheads 125 gr to muzzy's 100 4 blade and would like some input and some pics of the wound channel....i've been shooting bears heads since 82 and it's getting a little tiresome keeping them sharpened....my new setup this spring will be a reflex caribou since i only shoot with one pin at 20 yds and fingers..................bob

IMHO...You can't go wrong with a muzzy head. I shoot a 3 bld 100gr. I would try the 4 bld, but I have a bunch of the 3s already. A friend of mine shoots the 4 bld head you are talking about. He killed a buck last year that just hoped 2 times after the shot and stood there. He bled out so fast that my friend was going to shot him again but it was all over before he could reload.

I just started shooting 4 blade 90gr. Muzzy's this year and I shot my first one this past Sat. 40 yd. shot blew right through. The deer ran 15 yds. stood for a couple of seconds and literally fell over backwards feet in the air. I have shot probably 15 deer over the years and this was the most awesome kill I have ever gotten. I certainly recommend the Muzzy's.

I can't speak on behalf of the others. But, I will tell I have shot the 3-blade but had a hard time tuning them. I went to the 4-blade 100gr. and its like shooting a field point. I have converted several of my friends to switch from expandable to the Muzzy 4-Blade. I shot an 5x6 Elk in Sept. from 37yrds with it.
Thanks and good hunting!!!!

I have got to reply again. I just shot my second deer with the 90gr. Muzzy 4 blade and she did not go but 60-70 yards. I did not realize she was a little quartered towards me and I went in perfect and caught one lung but I came out right in front of the back hip on the other side and she still went down that quick. I shot one 2 years ago similar to that with a mechanical broadhead and she went 250-300 yards but I did recover her. I think the Muzzy's are awesome. I will be switching my son to them by next year, he was using Steelforce but he hit the spine last week and the broadhead just fell apart.
