I know some one who shot a deer with the CTs and the blades sheared off inside the deer. He cut himself gutting it. I would never use them for this reason. I use Rocket 75 gr Mini Blaster 3s and Muzzy 90gr 4 blade heads. The Rocket Ultimate Steels are very good too.

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to keep working with my muzzy 90 gr. and use Kbacon's advise. If that doesn't work I'm going to try the Slick Trick's that Bigbulls recomended. I have only read good things about them in the forums here. The only problem is I'm not sure which one to use, the 85 or the 100 gr. Decisions - Decisions

Love your analogy Gundigest.

All though I may have missed it, I don't believe "oldhootowl" has released the 85's yet. [8D]

I'm not sure. I just visited his website and it looks like he is out of every thing right now. Said he will resume shipping on August 1st including the 85's. Is "oldhootowl" the owner of Slick Trick?

I used the CT's last season ,my problem was that they just weren't durable enough ,they flew well and they are a nasty looking head.I know that CT has made some changes to their blades for this season so maybe they've improved the durability some .But this season i've bought the new Montac G5's,I've heard lot's of good thing's about them except for their sharpness but I'll try them and see how they work for me .

Just my 2 cents I just started using G5 last year and got very very good flight out of them I was shooting 3D with the practice heads and they were flying as well as my expandables I would buy some preseason G5 montecs and give them a try and if you like them you can buy the sharpened ones and they will fly the same I tried them out to 50 yards and that elk would of been history right in the boiler room only thing it was just FOAM ie 3D:D

MUZZY'S, MUZZY'S, MUZZY'S, not one on the market that can do what these do. Don't believe me , get a dull one and shoot it against a sharp Crimson Talon into a 1 inch piece of plywood , I did, the C.T. 's blades broke into pieces, while the muzzy looked the same, as before I shot it. I'm a believer now. Try it , you'll be suprised to
