I just started making my own arrows a few weeks ago. not only do you get better quality than going through a pro shop you also get a sense of pride knowing that you created your own arrows. i used carbon arrows that came with the nocks and the inserts then i put a EZE-Crest wrap on for a nice custom look then i used the steel force beyond bond glue with the quick drying stuff for it. i love that glue it took less than a few minutes to dry. then i used a jo jann fletcher that has six slots for quicker fletching. i used the strait setting with a slight ofsett and then used quickspin vanes to create some of the lost spin. hopes this helps. i really do like the new look to my arrows.
