Default Trophy ridge dropzone, or muzzy zero

I'm thinking of getting a new rest but can't decide which one to go with. If you have an opinion you could voice it here and give me your thoughts. Thanks

Personally I wouldn't use either one of them.

The MZE is friggin huge and has way too much going on concerning its operation. I'd hate to try and stalk through some thick brush with all that is on that thing to catch every branch on the way.

Trophy ridge products have never impressed me at all and have disimpressed me quite a bit in the past. I really don't see a hundred bucks worth of rest in the DZ.

My choices would be NAP QT 2000 or 4000, the Golden Key TKO, or the Trophy taker shakey hunter. All three of these do the same thing as the others but without the bulk and the added cost.

This is JMO.

But, if you are dead set on these two it would be the MZE with out a doubt.

I cannot comment on the Muzzy Zero Effect. I have not used one. However, the Trophy Ridge Drop Zone is one awesome rest. I too was not fond of their products, (sights in particular), but decided to put the DZ on my Liberty anyways. First of all, it is by far one of the quietest rests on the market. And b/c I only bow hunt (no 3d or targets), this was top priority for me. Second, it was easy to set up and tune. It also drops the arm vertically which gives it better fletching clearance than some of the others, IMO.

MZE. I'd be too affraid of debris or ice jamming up the drop zone.

Trophy ridge all the way. Can't comment on the Muzzy though. Drop zone is an awesome rest. Just put one on about a month ago. Shoots great, no flaws. Great company too. I use all Trophy ridge products....sight, rest, stabilizer. Great stuff. Not sure where you're at, but you can come out and shoot mine if you want (Dallas).

As for pirce...got mine on Ebay for half of what you pay in the store. Check out ebay.

Here's another vote for the Trophy Ridge DROP ZONE. This is indeed one awesome rest. Do a "search" on this forum and others and you'll quickly see that the DZ has developed one heck of a following over the past year simply because it WORKS. Check one out and see what all the talk's about. IMHO, the DZ is as good as it gets in arrow rest design.

I can't comment on the muzzy either as I've never shot it. The DZ however gets an A+ from me all around. Quick easy set up (most dificult part was tying into the buss cable), quick tuning, quiet and stellar proformance! This is the defination of Brick $#!^ House.
A truly amazing rest (a little pricey but amazing none the less)
As mentioned before, Good deals to be had on eBay!
Good luck

Trophy Ridge based on personal use. It hasn't given me a reason to dislike it.

I just put a trap door on mine and I'm in love with it.
