i myself have looked at the trophy ridge sights, not to happy with the vertical pin line up looks like it hides alot of the target, im going to go with the copper john sights with the horozontal sights im more comfortable with that style , i also just purchased the outback wow what a bow,,,, that is just my op, hope it helps

I love the Trophy Ridge sight that I use. I also had no problem switching to vertical pins and I actually prefer them. Now if I draw on a deer I can see it's face and determine if it's looking at me. Couldn't always do that with horizontal pins.

i'm surprised my buddy cornfed hasn't responded to this thread ,anyway i got the new matrix guide series sight recently after having the regular matrix (plastic pins) for several years ,i did have some problems with the windage bar (dovetail style) which tr fix quickly and for no charge ! the new sight is a great sight as the windage and elevation adjustments are on a worm gear. the matrix is also availiable with the new v drive system check them out imo they are great and customer service is also A one!

I have had no problems with my sight whats so ever for 2 years. The service for parts is great, but had a little problem them sending parts to me, sent the wrong part. But very good service people. Just put a light on my sight that is the best see light for the sight that I have ever seen, can not go wrong with TR.

The Matrix is indeed a great sight. I have shot the TR Vi-Pins sights since the intro of the Flatliner. Since that original sight I've went to the Matrix, the metal pin Matrix and now the Matrix Guide series. I'm presently playing with the NEW Matrix and Mantis with TR's exclusive V-Drive system. I like their new V-Drive system. This feature is really cool on the Mantis (Pendulum) so that your single pin can be a great sight for ground hunting and 3D as well as deadly in the deer stand. I'm also finding out that I use the V-Drive direct drive system more then I thought I would with the 3 pin Matrix. For instance I have an ultra close pin setting for 10 yards on my Turkey rig. It's also nice to have only 3 pins instead of 5 or more when trying to concentrate on long shots at the range and on the 3D course. Obviously I'm a bigtime Matrix fan and it's exciting to see what Chris Rager and company will come up with every season.

I have from the Flatliner thru to the Matrix Guide Series with the new precision micro adjustment.
Did have some problems during the years but Trophy Ridge customer service stepped up to the plate and on every occasion sent all the parts free of charge. Excellent customer relationship.

I recently got myself the Predator IV-Pendulum, but must admit that IL-Cornfed is making things really hard for me when he speaks about the Matrix with the V-Drive system ;).
I may just have to---o-oh, gotta go!!

Not to bash, but I see that a lot of guys have had problems with things vibraing loose. Customer service seems good at resolving issues. That's what they are for. But the other side of the coin is, they have to have good service if they want to keep selling sights. The thing is, why don't they start making them out of metal so things can be tightened down without rattling loose? I always buy sights made of machined aluminum, such as Sptt-Hogg or HHA Optimizers and have never had to bother their customer service because they built them right to start with. And, I've had a few plastic sights over the years with pretty much the same results--always coming loose.
