RE: Laser tune up kit
Jersey,
The shop where I shoot and work on my bow has this vise and the various levels. I have used them many times. I see they say it is improved for '04. I am not familiar with this new one. The one I use is a year or two old, maybe. It seems to work very well on a variety of bows. My bow is of the parallel limb design, and the vise works fine in either the horizontal or vertical position. It allows for fairly precise leveling of the bow during setup. In the horizontal position, it makes it very easy to install peep sights, or do any serving work. All in all, I have been pleased with these devices.

RE: Laser tune up kit
It is a handy tool for our bows. I've got one myself and I've mounted it to the side of my bow press (Pro Hercules-Apple Archery) and it makes for a perfect combination.
There's no laser parts in that kit, just the vise and the levels, but you can also get yourself the EZE Center Hunters version center-shot Laser, this tool helps in the initial set up and tuning of a bow.

I have the R.S. Levels and Apple Bow Vice. The vice works great as do the levels but they have certain draw backs. For one, both the bottom and top clips of the string level need to be on the center serving. You cannot have one of the center serving and one on the string itself otherwise you will get false readings. Second, with single cam bows the string is at an angle to the centerline of the limbs/riser. Without understanding and compensating for this again, the string level can give you false readings.
I also have the EZE Laser centershot tool and I am very happy with its performance. It has helped to eliminate alot of tuning time.
