Default Broad heads

I am going turkey hunting this spring with my bow. I dont know if I should use expandable broadheads or not. I am pulling 35 pounds at 22" draw length. Do you think my bow will push them hard enough to open them up? what brands do you suggest?[&:]

I think thats pretty light for expandables even on turkeys. Its definately too light for them on deer. I'm a fan of expandables but only if your bow is powerful enough to use them. If I were you I'd stick to a good fixed head like a Muzzy, Magnus, Slick Trick or Thunderhead. If you hit them in the right place they will be just as dead.

I agree with todd, thats a little light. I normally like expandables for turkey, but your at an extreme handicap with that setup. Go with a good fixed blade. Muzzys work great, so do stingers. Id say try and go with 3 blades though.

I would recomend a quality fixed blade head for your setup. Muzzys, thunderheads, rocky mountian, wasp, magnus etc. This will ensure good penetration and these heads do a great job on game.
