It works great, especially for hunting, arrow stays on the rest no matter what angle you have to twist the bow to get into shooting position.

How do you get their catalog. This sounds like the rest I've been looking for. I can't get a good look at the rest from the pic on the website.

Hey 'Mike from Texas', if you don't mind a bit of a drive, the Outdoor Pro Shop in Richardson stocks them and even has a Mathews Outback demonstrator set up with with that rest. You can shoot it and see how you like it. I have one on my LX and I think it's great!

You can see the rest at http://www.vitalbowgear.com/arrowrests.cfm

Anytime. They are a good bunch of guys there and will be happy to help you. They are very Mathews slanted but carry most brands of bows. They also have a 20yd indoor range so you can practice there as well.

I called Vital Bow Gear today and asked them if it would fit on My Hoyt,Tec bows.I got to talk to the owner, designer of the company and he is a really nice guy.Ben is his name,I think. He said it would and we talked about it for probably 20 minutes. He likes to talk as much as I do.[8D]

He is the person that designed the SME fallaway and was talked into putting the arm on it from his advisors and the design he now has is his original and works better than the other design that he was talked into by his bosses. He owns the patent so he statrted his own company and looks like he has a winner.

I ordered one for my Xtec that should be arrive in a couple of weeks.

I put one on my new Liberty. You can rotate the bow 360 degrees and the arrow will not budge. Its an AWESOME rest!

One of the other great advantages to this rest is that it is very very quiet. You don't need tape, or hear-shrink or moleskin to make your draw quiet, the rest does it all on it's own.
