Any opinions on the Mathews FX bow? I know it's not the latest and greatest, but it looks like a simple and forgiving bow that should kill 'em as dead as the latest bows on the market.
I currently shoot a Mathews Z-Max that I've shot for about 6 years (time to change) and have killed several deer with it. It seems like the FX would be more forgiving due to the generous brace height. I'm sure I'll lose some speed, but I'm okay with that.
I'm also considering the Parker Feather Mag II.
Need some comments/suggestions. Thanks.

Well, I would first check out other bows Mathews has to offer, heck if you are thinking of a new Mathews get the latest and greatest, you might want to wait to see what they have up their sleeve for this coming year!!

The FX is a great bow. Very smooth and quite. You can easily find one used for $250. I was thinking of getting rid of mine and getting maybe a SQ2, but have decided to keep it. Look at archeytalk.com for good used bows.
