Just remember that the Bowhunter stand is not a " Sit and Stand" climber. You have to use a lot of arm to get up the tree. It is a good stand. Also, Bass Pro is having a sale on most of the API stands, so you may want to look there if you are ordering or one is in your neighborhood.

I like the Shooting Star stand from API. The rail in front folds down for bowhunting to make a foot rest and fold up for a shooting rail during gun season.

i wanted to try climbers about four years ago so i bought a hunters view hawk climber it cost me $100 it climbs the tree and sticks to it when set up never had it slip you can stand any where on the platform and it feels solid,the bad about this stand is that its about 33 or 36 pounds and i changed the foot straps they looked cheap and they changed the rubber tubing around the cables to plastic dont know if this changes anything. IMO it was a $100 well spent still using it
