Default Anyone tried the NAP Quick fletch?

I saw these the other day and was wondering if anyone has tried them.

It says you simply slide it on and put it in boiling water.

Thanks!

I use them. The work very well. Just boil some water in a pot deep enough so you can submerge the entire fletch. Leave it in there for 8-10 seconds and your good to go.

I use fixed blade broadheads and like to align the blades with the fletching. So, I put on my broadheads first, get them spinning good and then put on the Quick fletch aligning the vanes with the blades. Just another benefit.

I recommend them for sure.

Work good, I microwave a mason jar, gives ya enough depth to get it in there, also like to index my muzzys with the fletchings another + only gripe is some of them need a little touch up fletch glue right at the ends, or superglue gel from the dollar store works. Ive been shooting two quickfletched arrows for a month now threw a whiskerbiscuit, and they are still rockin.

I use them and they do work well. Tips Make sure your water is boiling then make sure the container is deep enough to submerge the whole fletching at once. I also align my fletchings with the broadheads. My muzzys are flying great with them. They shrink so keep the end of the fletching 1/16th of a inch past the end of your arrow. Stick the knock end in the water while holding the fletching with one finger so it don't move. Submerge about 2 inches of arrow until you see the fletch shrink around the arrow to hold it in place as you slowly submerge the rest.

One thing I have noticed is although they are not as durable as regular fletchings they are durable. If you hit something hard such as a bar in your deer target leg, I have had a few break right in half. They crack in the center but stay on the arrow. Another is I have shot 2 deer so far this year and both pass thru's and both have broke or cracked in the center of the vein. I like them and will continue to use them because of quickness and ease of use. Buy the quick spins for a few more bucks they will improve your accuracy as well. They are a great product.

I would use them,if they came with Blazer vanes!
I'm not a big fan of the quik-spins! But I love the idea, quick and easy!

I have been using them for a couple of years now. They work as advertised but I will tell you a couple of cautions. Be sure you're getting the quick spins and not the twisters.. I didn't realize that I had picked up the twister model once and I couldn't get them to fly at all. If you really prefer the blazers, Extreme shrink-fletch makes their product with Blazer vanes. The only thing about the Extreme's are you have to apply them with 180 degree water and not boiling, this according to their sales rep. Good luck.

Actually I've used both the quick spins and the twisters with equal results. I did find however that once you get the water to boil, remove it from the heat to dip the arrows. Also, because they shrink, remember they also shrink along the length solet them hang over the nock end of the arrow about 1/16" - 3/32". You can then trim a bit if you have to with a razor knife.
