Default Yea, nice and succinct

Your point is if i don't suck at shooting, alloys are just fine

That and I'm not always sure why some products get introduced or pushed. Might have nothing to do with quality; might have. I always thought some products, like whisker bisquits, are for newbies.

Now I like alloy(aluminum) because I cut my own arrows and fletch them. I cut them with a hack saw(real inexpensive) than with a special arrow saw needed for carbon, they say, that runs into real money. I found that cutting the arrows long, for practice, worked. If I stubbed the arrow a little, I could cut off a half inch or inch and a half, and come up with a good arrow. Another reason I stayed with aluminum arrows.

But I'll admit, I have no way of knowing if it only works for me. If it stays cheap, I stay with it.

good luck.

You might want to try a small pipe cutter. The one I have is smaller than a Zippo lighter, quicker and easier than a hacksaw plus the cut is dead square.I use a small round file to remove the inside burr if needed.
