Ok I am hearing every rest on the MARKET!!!!!!!!!! JESE!
I have picked up the Vital Bow Gear Fall Away Rest. I mean you can' t believe this, I have no words . . . 1st of all it is sooo silent you can hear your cams roll, 2nd it has a little lok that holds ur arrow whenever u pull ur arrow back from shooting. Hey take a look at this website, give it a look and if ur smart you' ll give it a chance. I am just trying to say, it is the # 1 seller and Vital Bow Gear is a brand New COmpany. I' m using the NAP 2000 quicktune dropaway. I like the fact that I can shoot with any style, length or fletching configuration and not have to concern myself with fletching contact.

Golden Key Futura- non drop-away. One less thing that can go wrong when that buck of a lifetime steps into my lane. If it' s not broken, why fix it?

Depends on the cam system.

On singlecam bows with some nock travel issues (i.e. notstraightline types) I find the added guidance of a conventional rest is superior.

On duals, Hybrids, and straightline types, drop-aways work well.

That said, after shooting drop-aways for a year or, I still prefer the extra guidance of a non-dropaway regardless of cam type. Despite all the advertising to the contrary I find conventional rests more forgiving, and some of the fall-aways can be a real pain in the butt to set-up. If they fail in the field for some reason, I' d rather just be able to slap on a new coventional rest, set the centershot, launcher height, spring tension & start shooting: which takes very little time.

I' m a fan of the NAP 1000 & 3000' s as well as the Golden Key Premier series.

In my opinion, you' d be hard pressed to beat a whisker biscuit for hunting.

I just bought the QS Whisker Biscuit and put it on my bow in preperation for the Sept. 1 season here in DE. I was a bit skeptical switching away from my Gold Key but have been totaly pleased with my groups during practice. I cant wait to try it in a hunting situation.
