I shoot the Rage 3-blade... The reason is that you get a touch more penatration and also I like the fact that you have 3 blades compared to only two.. The 2-blade does have a wider cutting diameter but the 3-blade gives you one hellova hole anyways... Both are great in my opinion but if I had to recommend one it would be the 3-blade..

I use the Rage 2 blade and have had good results. Just make sure your orings are in good shape and the blades are locked under the oring every time you knock an arrow. If you do that you will have no problems.

I bought the 2 blade about 2 years ago. I didn't like them because they were too sensitive. Now I hunt from a blind and everytime I bumped the arrow, the broadhead would start to open up. The same thing would happen everytime I would pull one from the quiver. I sold the damn things. I bought the Epek XC-3 last year and I like that broadhead MUCH better!!!!

2 blade rage is the way to go IMO, they give huge entrance holes and even bigger exit holes... the one deer and racoon i shot with it were just outragous. but however my dad shot a giant doe with his 2 blade in the shoulder and still got 7 or 8 inches of penetration the deer ran 75 yards.

BTW if anyone has ever been to Vances Shooter Supplies in columbus and seen a shoulder of a doe where the rage got stuck in the bone. that is the OPPOSITE shoulder (yes it went through one shoulder and halfway through the other)

2 blade all the way
