Machining and quality is about as good as you are gonna see in a pin sight. In fact the machining is like a whole other level vs. most other makes..........I have the " Hogg-It" for 3D and have been so thoroughly impressed with it that am seriosuly considering the " Hogg-It Hunter" for my hunting bow.........I think you could pound nails with one and it would look as good as the day you bought it. It' s some serious coin for a pin sight but the quality and Lifetime warranty makes it probably the last pin sight I' ll ever need.

I have the hogg-it hunter with .019 pins. I mainly use it as a target sight, but if I had the .029 pins, it would definetly be an awesome hunting sight as well. I can' t speak highly enough about this sight, I am a VERY picky person when it comes to what goes on my bow (in quality sense). They are a little pricey, but they are well worth the money, and I don' t see myself having to buy another target sight for a long, long time.

I shoot the " sure-thing" which I think is called the " real-deal" or something like that now. The .019 pins work great for 3D and hunting. The sight is very solid and uses real bolts to lock down with (not screws). The sights are pricey, but you don' t wonder if it' s worth it or not. It' s one solid sight.

I sold my Trophy Ridge Matrix and bought the Spot Hogg RIGHT ON. I don' t think that they are all that much when you see what you are getting. Your bow is only as accurate as the sight! I don' t see paying 6,7, or 8 hundred for a set up and putting a junk sight on it.
