Default Octane Hostage vs. Octane Hostage Pro rest

Is it worth the extra $30 for the Pro? If it is what is the advantage?

Well I have the original Hostage and LOVE it! With the pro you get adjustability so you can fit the diameter of your arrow perfectly, smaller brushes, and more clearance for your vanes. I shoot blazers and they never hit the outside at all and I have no complaints on the hostage. It's just important that you line up your vanes well so they pass through the gaps in the brushes. It's a little easier finding replacement brushes for the pro but you can find brushes online for the hostage. If you hear a lot about the brushes wearing down fast don't worry about it, as long as you tune your bow right it'll be fine. I've had mine since January and shoot quit a bit with no problems with them getting worn at all.

i like the construction of the pro a bit more, and it seems a bit easier to tune. you cant shoot thin arrows out of the original, that said they are both great rests

They both suck. Get a drop away like the Limb Driver!

Go with the pro. It's easier to tune and gives you more options when it comes to adjustments.

I have the original, and like it. That being said the pro is definately made better and will probably last longer.
