Default Apex sight issues

This last weekend I went to the Cabelas store in St. Louis and bought the Apex Nitrus 6 pin sight with light and detach bracket for $135.00. When I got home (its two hour drive one way), I go to put the sight on my bow and find out that all the pieces werent in the container, which was obviously unopened prior to me. So, needing the sight for a 3 D shoot the next weekend I drove another four hours round trip to exchange it. So I get home and open the new one and all the pieces are actually there so I put it on. I took it out to sight it in and noticed that whenever I lock it down in its extended position, the pin guard leans way down to the left, causing me to shoot farther left the farther back I shoot. I called Apex, which is made by TruGlo to see what I could do. They do have a warranty and I could send it in, but I pay shipping and wait at least 7-8 days by the time mine gets there and they send me another. I asked if they would cover shipping to and from because I had already drove an extra 4 hours due to their other mistake in packaging. That seemed to really piss the lady off because she got real hateful and told me thats the way a warranty is. I understand that but I thought I already spent enough! The sight itself was 135 bucks! I then asked her if there was a dealer in the area that could swap it out for me. In her hateful voice she said, "Well where are you at?" and she looked up my zip code without giving me a chance to tell her there is no dealer in my zip but the one to the south I think there is.
I decided just to return the sights next time I go to St. Louis. Never again will I buy a TruGlo or apex product and if any one who reads this buys one just make sure you check it close before you buy it!
