I am interested in the new MeanV Maximum string supressor, but there is no length selection on your site MeanV2. Will it fit my 82nd?

RE: 2009 Bowtech String Stop?
ORIGINAL: bigbulls I don't have an 09 airborn in the shop but according to BT's web site it uses the carbon rod string stop although their picture looks like the regular aluminum rod string stop. If it is the carbon rod then no you can not adapt it to the bow. The riser must be machined to accept the carbon rod. If it is the regular rod then I believe it will screw into the steel bushing in the riser. But there are a number of aftermarket string stops that you can use on your bow that are readily available in most archery shops. I stock the String Tamers by duravane in the shop. |

Black Stick, I'll try to answer your questions. The rod on the New Maximum modelis 7075 Aluminum (higher grade aluminum than 6061) The Carbon Fiber is only a finish as noted on the website. Other finishes will be available soon.
Length selections will be on the websitesoon. Possibly even tonight;)I may have a few of the new Mini Maximum models available as I got a shipment today I have yet to go through. What Camo is your 82nd? For $46 you get it complete as pictured and free Priority shipping as well. As far as the material the rod is made out of I doubt it makes much difference whether it's aluminum or carbon fiber, but a hollow rod can act as a sounding chamber. All mine are solid Aluminum. PM me directly and I'll answer any other questions via PM. Dan |

RE: 2009 Bowtech String Stop?
I asked about the carbon rod because I heard that the new Bowtechs are using it and I was just wondering why they would use it instead of aluminum.
