Just like everyone else has said, start shooting and find one that fits.

It seems like everyone is still trying to keep up with Mathews. They come out with parallel limbs and everyone else does. They come out with harmonic dampers and everyone made something similar. They make lighter, slimmer limb bows and what is everyone else doing this year? I'm not saying they make the best product. I am saying that everyone follows they're lead. I guess that means my vote is for Mathews.

Well, every year they seem to come up with better and better rigs for all of us to spend our money on. I look forward to buying a new rig every season and have no loyalty to any particular brand.... build me a better mousetrap and I'll buy it. That being said, I honestly believe the Mathews DXT that I'm shooting this season is THE best bowhunting rig that I've ever put together. It's short and manuverable, light, fast, quiet,... and most importantly, deadly accurate. I couldn't imagine a better feeling huntin' rig in my hands.

I've owned close to 100 bows of most every brand, but BowTech has been my go to bow since 03. I Love they way they constantly push Bow technology, and the performance and shootability I get out of their bows has always been Awesome!!

Bowtech is definitely on top as far as technology goes. But most people still go to brands like matthews, mostly because of the trusted name and dominate bows in the past and i think that plays a part in peoples decision in purchasinga bow but people also need to look at the bows of today im not saying matthews has lost its competitive edge im just saying research before u buy
