Default Question

I'm brand new on this forum, this being my third post. Ishoot "bare-bow" with a "stick-bow" and use wooden [cedar]arrows and have been doing so for years. The last time I hunted with a bow was in the last century. Then I spoiled by fire arms and hunted with them. Now I have gravated back to my first love, barebow, instinctive, traditionalhunting. I do, however still hunt with primitive firearms, ie blackpowder, not pyrodex or bp substitutes but the "Holy- Black" stuff itself. However I digress. I was wondering if anyone on this forum still hunts with the "old type" bow and arrow set up as I do? Recurve or long-bow, with wooden shafts? If so I would like very much to converse with them on this forum and/or the target archery forum.
