There are glues out there made just for fletching. I have used super glue before, its just not as strong.

To me, its not worth it. Use the real stuff.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better glue than Goat-Tuff, the stuff is awesome!

I've used Velcro Cement now for a couple of years. It works for aluminum or carbon. It's excellent.

I've never liked the fast set adhesives so I now use Fletch Tite Platinum.

This is what I use and I've never had a problem. It's relatively inexpensive and it seems to stay fresh in that metal tube. A buddy of mine uses goat tuff and it works great but he only gets partway through the bottle before it starts thickening up.

I have used super glue on vanes and feathers, I have also used the fast set gels that are like super glue. I had some problems with feathers using super glue and the fast set but no problems with vanes and super glue. The next set will likely be with the fletch tight platinum.
