Default need help with picking a peep sight

I am looking for a new peep for my Magnatec that will allow for better light transfer. I was planning on getting an HHA c-peep but basspro had none yesterday so I decided to hold off. I saw the trueglo for $14 and it looked alright but what do you guys think/recommend?

I really don't think you can do any better than a Tru Peep or a G5 meta peep. You can get 1/4" & 5/16" sizes.

I can't imagine not being able to see clearly through either of those.

$14 for what peep??? Gees, what will they think of next. Yeah, maybe for a Specialty peep but nothing else. I agree with MeanV2. 5/16" is pretty good sized for a peep. Exactly what I have on my hunting bow. 3D bow uses anything from 1/8" to 1/4", depending on the size of the sight guard.

Hunting = big peep... go with the meta peep or something big.
Target = buy what suits ya.

5/16 Tru Peep. Only $5 and you really do not have to worry about twist.

I have a dumb question on the meta peep. I was lookin at one at Gander Mt and I couldnt get anyone to help me to answer my question so since it don't have the little elastic thing to align the peep how does the meta peep stay lined up?

I use the Jim Fletcher 1/4 hunter and love it.. G5 and fletcher don't use the rubber tubing. What you do is have it installed at your proshop and the willline it up with your d-loop so when you clip on your d-loop it will line up your peep.. Walt

I shoot the Red Hawk Peep sight. This peep is pretty unique in that is has a smaller whole for bright conditions and also an amber ring for extream low light conditions. Great all around peep for me, so I thought I would give you my opinion. Here is where you can get it.

2006HighSierra, That is a great peep in my opinion....it will take some getting use to(Just due to thesize difference)but I think you will be pleased. That amber ring truly gathers light in low light conditions, just like amber tinted glasses. How about a review when you get it instaled on your string? Good luck and good hunting!
