when i bought the bow that i have now, i was going to buy a vibracheck isolator, but the guys at my proshop said to waita couple of weeks becuase the icon was coming out, so i waited and bought it when it came in. most people seem to like it, but i have never been too impressed. it does not seem to dampen much noise for my bow (fred bear trx), and whats more, the screw that goes into the bow, it is not cemented into the stabilizer, i have to screw it halfway into the stabilizer, and then screw the whole thing into my bow. after about 20 shots it vibrates loose. pretty frustrating. i just wanted to see what everyone else thought about it and if anyone else had this same problem.
also, i have the oringal limbsavers on my bow. since then they have come out with new designs, especially those split limb ones you see on all hoyts. should i spend the money for an upgrade or will i get the same performance from the old ones?

The icon is a good stabilizer but for the same money there are better IMO.
If you are having trouble with the threaded post comng out just get some nail polish and apply it to the threads and screw the post into the stabilizer tight and let it dry.
