it's like shoe shopping, you gotta put it on and try it out.

You know I hear guys say all the time that their wife gripes about them buying hunting gear and I thought they were kidding but I hear it way too often. I don't understand why women expect a man to buy them a $5,000 rock and support their shoe shopping and clothes fettish but their husband can't buy a new bow, or some accsesories. Maybe Josh is just lucky that I am into archery and find myself wishing I had that new sight or stabilizer. I am cheap when it comes to my stuff but I didn't bat an eye writting a $650 check for his new bow. But archery is different the more I shoot the more I find myself wanting to upgrade my accesories, I won't pay more than $20 for a pair of pants but I'll pay almost a hundred for an accesory on my bow. I guess I'm a little backwards.

My wife shoots a BowTech General.
I say let her shoot a few bows & see if she loves it or likes it? If she loves it buy her a top of the line bow.
If she likes it, buy her the cheapest thing you can find.

Each bow has something different to offer. The Bowtech Equalizer is a very shootable speed demon. Hoyts have the best grips for smaller hands, IMO. Hoyt also has alot of selections to offer the short draw archer. The Martin Cheetah has a super smooth draw. I thought the tech was lying when he said I was drawing 55lbs. It felt more like 45. And lets not forget that High Country now has the short draw trinary cam. Good luck shopping

The Edge by Diamond is a good bow for a woman. Not too expensive and shoot resonably fast.
